Form: Some fairly cosmetic changes, mostly the plural vs singular, which makes it more general.
Content: Clearly the knowledge that this statement alludes to deals with the typical ego concept of knowledge - knowing things about the world outside of us. That kind of knowledge is the typical "temptation" which the ego holds out to us as a worthwhile objective because it keeps us "seeking and not finding," by looking outside of ourselves and fill the hunger left by the ego's scarcity.
