P/GoTh:
quote J said, "God's Divine Rule is like a merchant who had a supply of merchandise and then found a pearl. That merchant was prudent; he sold the merchandise and bought the single pearl for himself. So also with you, see the treasure that is unfailing, that is enduring, where no moth comes to eat and no worm destroys." unquote
Form: Here again Pursah choses "God's Divine Rule" over "the father's kingdom," and it is a phrase that in some ways seems more easily understandable.
Content: This little mini-parable is yet another way of saying that the choice between the ego and Holy Spirit is always 100%, and when evidently one is true and the other one isn't, it should be obvious which choice to make. The same is expressed in many ways in the Course, and the process is designed to help us learn to make that choice, as we become more discerning between the Inner Peace the Holy Spirit offers, versus the stress and anxiety of the ego's arsenal of worldly treasure.
