P/GoTh:
quote J said, "Foxes have their dens and birds have their nests, but human beings have no place to lay down and rest." unquote
Form: The usual J for Jesus, and a more contemporary expression, "human beings," in lieu of the archaic "the child of mankind."
Content: The Course says: "Salvation is no more than a reminder this world is not your home." (ACIM:T-25.VI.6:1)
This saying could also remind us of the image of T-10.I.2:1: "You are at home in God, dreaming of exile but perfectly capable of awakening to reality." This latter saying continues the image of a child sleeping in its crib safely at home, just having a bad nightmare of a distant land in which there is no such place to sleep safely.
