P/GoTh:
quote The disciples said to him, "When will the Kingdom come?" He said, "It will not come by watching for it. It will not be said, 'Behold here,' or 'Behold there.' Rather, the Kingdom of the Father is spread out upon the earth, and people do not see it." unquote
Form: Disciples in lieu of followers, in serting "He said," before the obvious Jesus quote. "Behold" instead of "look."
Content: In DU the comment on this saying is framed as follows: (Pursah speaking): "For as you can see from saying 113, J was teaching that the Kingdom of Heaven is something that is present, if not presently in your awareness. (text 113 follows) ''J" is not saying here that the Kingdom of the Father is in the earth. Indeed, he knew that the earth was in our minds. He was speaking about something that people do not see because the Kingdom of Heave cannot be seen with the body's eyes, which are only capable of beholding limited symbols. Heaven does not exist within the realm of perception, but is the genuine form of life that you will eventually become completely aware of.
Pursah continues to explain how we've lost our awareness of Heaven, and yet it is still within us, even if buried in the recesses of our mind. And she goes on to explain that she and Arten are there to help Gary with his remembering process, and that through Gary they can help others as well. From there the discussion seques to sayings 26, 31, 36, 54.
